Essential Qualification:

1.For Candidates with B.Tech/ M.Tech (VLSI / ECE / Material Science / Nanotechnology) DegreeBackgrounds.

• Valid GATE Score OR

• Valid UGC/CSIR NET or JRF

2.For Candidates with M Sc (Electronics Science) Backgrounds –

• Valid GATE Score OR

• Valid UGC/CSIR NET or JRF

3.Candidates with a CGPI of more than 8.0 from IITS/ IIITs/ IISERS/ and such institutions of National importance may be called for the selection process directly.

4.Furthermore, the applicant will be preferred if s/he has sound knowledge of Semiconductor Physics, Device simulation / practical knowledge of basic thin film fabrication steps/ thin film surface characterizations, etc. and Experience in simulations with CAD softwar (COMSOL/Ansys/SolidWorks) software.
