Mormugao Port Authority invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment :

Post Name : Trainee Pilot

Essential Qualification : Must hold a Certificate of Competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Govt. of India.

Essential Work Experience : One year post qualification experience as Master/Chief Officer of Foreign going ship.

Post Name : Dock Master

Essential Qualification : Must hold a Certificate of Competency as Master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Govt. of India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping & Waterways, Govt. of India.

Essential Work Experience :

(1) Three years experience as Pilot after attaining proficiency in handling all types of ships with unrestricted tonnage

(2) Five years experience as Master of a Foreign Going Ship.
