Post Name: Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

• M Pharm/MS Pharm/ MSc or Equivalent with specialization in Organic chemistry/Medicinal Chemistry/ Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Process Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry

• Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science Or post Graduate Degree in Professional course selected through a process described through any one of the following:

(i) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests–CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

(ii) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS,DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

• PG degree with 60% marks for GN/OBC (55% for SC/ST/PH)

Essential Work Experience: Two years experience in organic synthesis or medicinal chemistry with well versed in compound characterization techniques (Mandatory)

Desirable:

• GATE/CSIR/UGC NET/GPAT qualified.

• Publications (at least one) in standard refereed journals.

• Work experience in peptide synthesis, purification

• Peptide isolation and characterization

• HPLC (analytical/preparative)

• Anti-cancer activity assay (cell culture and in-vitro assay)
