Department of Land Resources invites applications for the following post(s) via direct recruitment:

Coordinator (Geospatial)

Essential Qualification: M.E/M. Tech in Remote Sensing/Geomatics/GIS/Geo-informatics in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (Average of all semester) or CGPA/CPI Grading of a minimum of 6.50 on 10-points scale or eEssential Qualification: quivalent.

With either of following Bachelor Degrees:

1. B.E/8. Tech in Civil/ Agricultural Engineering/ Remote Sensing in a First class with aggregate minimum of 650/o marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI Grading of a minimum of 6.84 on
2. 10-point scale. B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Forestry/ Horticulture/ Geology/ Geography/ Botany in First class with an of 650lo marks aggregate minimum (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI Grading of a minimum of 6.84 on 10-point scale or equivalent.

Desirable Experience: Experience of at least FOUR years in satellite data handling/ analysis and database design for Natural Resources related applications- Agriculture/ Forestry/ Soil sciences/Land degradation / LULC & Wastelands/ Water resource assessment/ Ground water etc.

Technical Officer (Network, System and Data-base Administration)

Essential Qualification: M.E/M. Tech in Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology in second class with an aggregate minimum of 55% marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI grading of minimum of 5.80 on 10-point scale or equivalent.

With

B.E./B Teach in Computer Science Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics/ ECE/Electronics and Telematics in First class with an aggregate minimum of 60% marks (Average of all semesters) or CGPA/CPI Grading of a minimum of 6.50 on 10-point scale or equivalent.

Desirable Qualification: Experience of at least ONE year in Web Application S/W development using web services, Programming in NET, C#, FLEX, AJAX, JZEE, Java script, C& C++, etc., Customised DSS in seruer GIS environment, Database Programming. Preference will be given to the candidates having experience of developing web applications for GIS.

Evaluation and Data Analyst (Geospatial)

Essential Qualification: MA/M.SC. in Statistics/Economics/Business Analytics/operation research or an identical degree with minimum of 60% marks or a retired officer from Indian Statistical Service or Indian Economic Service.

Desirable Qualification: Experience of at least THREE year in evaluation and data analysis.
