Essential Qualification:

  1. Shall have passed Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent.

  2. Pass Certificate in Library Sciences from any of the following Institutions:

    Training Centre attached to the Bengal Library Association.

    Training Centre attached to the District Library, Ramkrishna Mission Boys Home, Rahara.

    Training Centre attached to the Janata Colleges at Kalimpong and Banipur.

    Any other training Centre recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal for the purpose.

  3. Candidates with Bachelors Degree in Library & Information Science or equivalent are also eligible to apply.

  4. Basic Knowledge of computer applications.

  5. Knowledge of Bengali Language.
