Dibrugarh University invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in undergraduate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Bachelor of Physical Education

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors Degree in any discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter-College / Inter- Zonal / District /School Competitions in Sports and Games recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR

  • Bachelors Degree with Physical Education with 45% marks. OR

  • Bachelors Degree in any discipline with 45% marks and Studies Physical Education as compulsory/elective subject. OR

  • Bachelors Degree with 45% marks and having at least participation in National /Inter University/State Competitions or secured 1st 2nd and 3rd position in inter college / Inter Zonal District /School Competitions in Sports and Games recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India. OR

  • Bachelors Degree and participation in International competition or secured 1st 2nd and 3rd position in National / Inter- University Competitions in Sports and Games as respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Govt. of India. OR

  • Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (deputed in- service candidate i.e. trained physical education teachers/ coaches)

Admission Details

Dibrugarh University invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number DU/DR-A/Admission-B.P.Ed.23/469. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After completion of all procedures, successful candidates will be granted admission to Dibrugarh, Assam, India, 786001.
