Education Department Delhi invites applications for the following post via Deputation:

Post Name: Assistant Director (Inclusive Education)

Essential Qualification: 

Officers of the Central/State Government/UTs/Autonomous or Statutory organization/PSUs/ recognized University/research Institution:

(a) (i) Holding analogous posts on regular basis; or

(ii) With two years regular service in the posts in Level-9 of the Pay Matrix (53,100-1,67,800); and

(b) (i) Masters Degree from a recognized university;

(ii) BEd (Special Education). OR

  • BEd (General Education) with one year Diploma in Special Education or two years Diploma in Special Education or Post Graduate Professional Diploma in Special Education. OR

  • BEd (General Education) and Post Graduate Professional Certificate in Special Education. OR

  • PG Diploma in Special Education (Mental Retardation). OR

  • PG Diploma in Special Education (Multiple Disability: Physical and Neurological). OR

  • PG Diploma in Special Education (Locomotor Impairment and Cerebral Palsy). OR

  • Secondary Level Teacher Training Course in Visual Impairment. OR

  • Senior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf. OR

  • BA BEd in Visual Impairment.

(iii) Registration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).

Essential Work Experience: Five years experience in the field of special education or inclusive education for children with disabilities.

Desirable: 

  • PhD in special education from a recognized university or institute.

  • At least two years administrative experience.
