Post Name: University Librarian

Essential Qualification:

  • A Masters Degree in Library Science /Information Science/Documentation with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed.

  • At least ten years as a Deputy Librarian in University Library or ten years of teaching as Associate Professor in Library Science in a University Department or fifteen years experience as a College Librarian.

  • Evidence of innovative library services including integration of ICT in library.

  • Ph.D. Degree in library science/information science / documentation/archives and manuscript-keeping

Post Name: Registrar

Essential Qualification:

  • 1st Class Masters degree (Preferably Agriculture/ Veterinary or allied Sciences)

  • 15 years administrative/ academic experience in University/ Government/ autonomous body of which 8 years should be in the rank of Associate Professor/ Deputy Registrar or equivalent

  • Experience of establishment work, personnel management and knowledge of service rules.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of modern agricultural education system

  • Degree in Law
