National Law School of India University invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Lawyer

Essential Qualification:

1. Masters or a Bachelors Law Degree from a recognised University

2. Should be enrolled in the Bar Council of India (BCI) and be eligible to represent in a court of law

3. Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading and writing Kannada and English fluently.

Essential Work Experience:

1. At least two (2) years of experience practicing before any court of law and/or at least two (2) years of legal research in human rights, preferably child rights

2. In addition to this, the candidate must have:
(a) Ability to work in a team, contributing to both team and individual goals
(b) Prior research and writing experience
(c) Ability to meticulously use different legal research databases
(d) Demonstrated proficiency in the use of G-Suite, MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
(e) Interest in human rights and/or child rights
