National Sugar Institute invites applications for the following posts via Deputation :

Post Name : Senior Scientific Officer (Design)

Essential Qualification : 

(1) Officers of Central Government or State Governments or Union Territory Administrations or Public Sector Undertakings or Universities or Recognized Institutions or Autonomous bodies or Statutory Organizations :

(i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or Department;

(ii) with two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-8 (47,600-1,51,100) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department;

(iii) with three years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-7 (44,900-1,42,400) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department;

(iv) with eight years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level-6 (35,400-1,12,400) in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department;

(2) Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or Institute; and

Essential Work Experience : Three years practical experience in designing chemical equipments.

Desirable :

(1) Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognised University or Institute;

(2) Two years teaching experience in relevant field from a recognised University or Institute;
