  • M.Sc., (Forensic Science) Degree and a Degree in the Subject, for the Group as shown in the Explanation below to which he/ she is appointed. (OR)

  • M.Sc., Degree in the Subject for the Group as shown in the Explanation below to which he/ she is appointed.

  • Provided that other things being equal, preference shall be given to person who holds a degree in M.Sc., (Forensic Science).

Recruitment Details

Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission invites application for various posts. Total 31 number of vacancy/vacancies have been announced in the notification. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number 10/2023 and 659. The minimum age limit is 18 and maximum age limit is 32 as on date. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Other Backward Classes and Ex-Servicemen will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Women and Unreserved . The examination will be conducted through Online and Offline mode at Regional level. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, 600006.

Oral Test Schedule Release

Based on the outcome of Onscreen Certificate Verification, the candidates have been provisionally admitted to oral test on the basis on the marks obtained by the candidates in the said examination and other conditions stipulated in the notification for the said recruitment. The Oral Test will be held on 22/02/2024 at the office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, TNPSC Road, Chennai - 600003. The candidates should attend the oral test with all original certificates in support of the claims made in their online application.
