Engineering Department Chandigarh invites applications for the following posts via Deputation

Post Name: Junior Engineer (Public Health)

Educational Qualification:

1. For JE (Civil): Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute

2. For JE (Electrical): Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute

Essential Qualification: The officers under Central Govt./State Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi-Govt./autonomous or statutory organisation holding analogous post of Junior Engineer (Public Health) or similar post on regular basis in the grade and possessing the educational qualification and experience.

(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre/department; or

(ii) With 2 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis on the post in PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs.4600 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department or

(iii) With 6 years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in post in PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800 with grade pay of Rs.4200 or equivalent in the parent cadre or department.

Essential Work Experience: 02 year experience in the relevant field of discipline for dealing with the maintenance of residential and non residential buildings and for executing various Original works of Public Health Services as well as for preparing estimates/tender cases etc.
