National Institute of Urban Affairs invites applications for the following post(s) via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Financial Management Specialist

Essential Qualification:

1. Advanced degree (Masters or equivalent) in accounting, economics, public financial management, public policy/political science, finance, or another related field;

2. The candidate should be a qualified professional accountant- CA, CWA, CPA or equivalent membership of an internationally recognized professional accountancy body;

3. At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial management;

4. Knowledge of International Reporting Standards (IFRS) / Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS).

5. Experience in designing and assessing internal control systems using internationally accepted control frameworks;

6. Experience in evaluating financial management systems (including budgeting, accounting, cash management, internal audit and financial reporting systems);

7. Experience in assessing auditor competence and independence;

8. Good social, analytical, inter-personal and planning skills;

9. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
