Essential Qualification:

• B. Tech. and M. Tech. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) to qualify under the Open/OBC category and a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.0) for candidates under SC/ST category. OR

• B. Tech. (4 years) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5/10) to qualify under the Open/OBC category and a minimum of 55% aggregate marks (CGPA ≥ 6.5) for candidates under the SC/ST category, with valid GATE scores.

Desirable:

• Technical knowledge of operating machine tools, basic knowledge of materials, manufacturing, and materials characterization.

• Handling of Scientific documentation, Maintenance of Records, report writing
