Application Summary

ICMR National Institute of Immunohaematology has released a notification for the Doctor of Philosophy program. Interested candidates can apply from 16/08/2023 to 20/09/2023. ICMR National Institute of Immunohaematology invites online applications from eligible candidates for admission in Doctorate programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Doctor of Philosophy

Educational Qualification:

(i) Candidates who are Indian citizen and having Post graduate degree (M Sc in Applied Biology, Life Sciences, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Biotechnology.) with at least 60% or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) for General, OBC and EWS category and 55% for SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates in aggregate (or equivalent grade). In case CGPA is not based on a 10 point scale candidate should provide a statement issued by the respective University indicating conversion of CGPA to percentage. Candidates, who have appeared in the academic year 2023--2024 and results are awaited, are also eligible to apply. However, such candidates will have to submit the proof of qualifying marks before joining the Institute.

(ii) The candidates should have cleared at least one of the following exams Either Ph.D. entrance test (PET) conducted by the University of Mumbai in the subjects of Applied Biology/ Biochemistry/ Life Sciences/Molecular Biology/Biotechnology . OR

(iii) CSIR-UGC NET (JRF or LS) or GATE (Life Sciences/ Biotechnology) or JRF examination conducted by national agencies such as ICMWDBT or SET (Life Sciences/Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Biochemistry) or Valid DST-Inspire fellowship.
