Post Name: Associate Professor
Essential Qualification:
i. A recognized veterinary qualification included in the first and second schedule of Indian Veterinary Veterinary Council Act, 1984 and must be registered with State Veterinary Council / Council of India.
ii. Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade in the point scale.
iii. A Masters Degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed).
iv. A good academic record, with a PhD Degree in the concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
Essential Work Experience:
A minimum of eight years of experience of teaching and / or research in an academic/research position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University, College or Accredited Research Institution/industry in the Pay scale of Rs 15600-39000 AGP Rs 6000/7000/8000 with a minimum of seven publications in the peer-reviewed or UGC-listed/NAAS rated journals. Excluding the leave period for doing PhD. OR
Scientist of CGIAR or Centers of other international organizations with minimum 8 years of post PhD research or Academic experience and drawn consolidate salary/ honorarium $30,000/- per annum or equivalent.
