National Capital Region Planning Board invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Chief Regional Planner

Essential Qualification: Officers of the Central Government or State Government or Union Territory Government or Public Sector Undertaking or semi Government or Autonomous or Statutory organizations -

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on a regular basis in the parent cadre or department,or

(ii) with two years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the pay band of Level-13 ( 118500-214100) (pre revised scale PB-4 37400-67000 grade pay 8700 in 6th CPC); or

(iii) with three years regular service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the pay band of Level-12 ( 78800-209200) (pre revised scale PB-3 15600-39100 grade pay 7600 in 6th CPC); and

(b) Possessing the following educational qualification namely.

Essential Work Experience:

(i) B. Arch. or BE (Civil) or B.Planning or MA (Geography) and Post Graduate Degree in Regional or Town or Urban or Housing or Transportation or Infrastructure Planning from a recognized University / Institute.

(ii) 12 years experience in the field of Regional or Town or Urban or Housing or Transportation or Infrastructure Planning in a local body or in a Government/ Govt. Undertaking or in a recognized institution, out of which at least 5 years in preparation and implementation of urban /regional / town and country planning and monitoring of infra-structure projects.
