Pandit Sundarlal Sharma Open University invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Essential Qualification:

(1) A Masters degree in the concerned subject or an equivalent professional degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).

(2) In addition to fulfilling the above mentioned qualifications, the candidate must also possess U. G.C., C.S.I.R. Passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the U.G.C. or similar examination accredited by the U.G.C. such as SLET/SET or who have passed the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Degree (M.Phil/Ph.D.) Regulations, 2009) OR 2016 and as amended from time to time, as the case may be, Ph. D. has been awarded the degree of: Provided further that prior to the 11th day of July, 2009, the Ph.D. degree shall be governed by the provisions of the existing Ordinances/Bye-laws/Regulations of such degree awarding institutions and such Ph.D. The requirement of NET/SLET/SET will be exempted for recruitment and appointment to the posts of Assistant Professor or equivalent in Universities/Colleges/Institutions subject to the fulfillment of the following conditions by the candidates:-

(a) The candidate should possess Ph.D. degree has been awarded in regular mode only;

(b) Ph.D. The dissertation has been assessed by at least two external examiners;

(c) Ph.D. an open viva-voce examination of the candidate has been conducted;

(d) The candidate has completed his Ph.D. Have published two research papers from work, at least one of which has been published in a refereed journal;

(e) The candidate has attended conferences/symposia sponsored/funded/aided by UGC/ICSSR/CSIR or similar agency for his Ph.D. Must have presented at least two research papers on the basis of works.

Desirable Qualification: Experience of working in Open University.
