Educational Qualification:

• M.Sc. in Chemistry (General / Organic / Inorganic / Physical / Other) or M.Sc in Pharmaceutical Chemistry or M.Sc. in Physics or M. Pharm from a recognized University/Institute or M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Biology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology) or M.E. / M. Tech. (Biotechnology/Bioprocess/Nanotechnology) or M.Sc. Food Science and Technology from a recognized University/Institute.

• Those appearing in the final year of the Master’s examination and having been conferred fellowship from any of the agencies mentioned above may also be considered. However, if selected, they must provide proof of degree completion (provisional/original) and a Fellowship Award Certificate before joining.

• Having their own fellowship granted by CSIR/UGC/DBT/DST/ICAR/ICMR or other funding institutes/agencies with secured funding (with a valid score in any national level tests for PhD admission, such as CSIR/UGC/DBT/DST/ICAR/ICMR/JEST/JGEEBILS (TIFR/NCBS)/ICMRJRF/GPAT/NTA) or equivalent
