(a) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the present cadre/dept.

(b) With 5 years regular service in posts in Pay Level 10 (56100-177500) in Pay Matrix in present cadre/Department

(c) With 6 years regular service in posts in Pay Level - 9 (53100-167800) in Pay Matrix in present cadre/Department.

(2) Degree from a recognized university or equivalent and 5 years experience in Administration/ Establishment and related matters

Post Name : Assistant Library and Information Officer

Essential Qualification : 

(1) Officers under the Central Government/State Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Semi Government/ Statutory/ Autonomous Organizations/Societies.

(a) Holding analogous post on regular basis in Pay Level 7 (44,900-1,42,400) in Pay Matrix in relevant field.

(b) With 5 years regular service in posts in Pay Level 6 (35,400-1,12,400) in Pay Matrix in present cadre/Department in relevant field.

(c) With 11 years regular service in post in Pay Level 5 (29,200-92,300) in Pay Matrix in present cadre / Department in relevant field

(2) Degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognised University/ Institute

Desirable : Masters in Library Science or Library and Information Science of a recognised University/ Institute
