India Meteorological Department invites applications for the following post via Deputation/Direct Recruitment:

Post Name: Scientist-G

Essential Qualification:

  1. A master degree from a recognized university in Physics / Meteorology / Atmospheric Sciences/Computer Applications or equivalent with at least first class (60%) in the qualifying degree level.

  2. A Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Communication/Telecom Engineering with at least first class (60%) in qualifying Degree level.

Essential Work Experience: 21 years experience in teaching (at graduate or post graduate level), research and development, survey, administration, planning, supervision or training etc. in the relevant field.

Desirable:

  1. Master degree in branch of Engg/Tech or equivalent as per requirement along with Doctorate Degree in relevant field.

  2. Doctorate degree shall count as three years experience.

  3. Doctorate in the relevant field from a recognized University for candidate with Master degree in Physics/Meteorology/Computer Applications/Atmospheric Sciences or equivalent.
