National Institute of Animal Biotechnology invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Immunology, etc. with 2 years duration and NET/GATE qualification along with 2 years of research experience after Post-graduation in any of following relevant field

Essential Work Experience: : (Candidate with prior experience in any of the following areas will be preferred.

i. BSL3 work experience, in vitro culturing of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

ii. Cell culture experience: handling of primary PBMC cells, mouse and human macrophage cells, and in vitro infection of macrophages with M. tuberculosis and other Mycobacterium species.

iii. ABSL3 work experience in handling mouse and guinea pigs, immunization, blood collection, dissection, organ harvesting etc.

iv. Immune assays such as ELISA, FACS/MACS, Immunoflurescence Microscopy.

v. LCMS based proteome and transcriptome data analysis
