Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad invites online application from eligible candidates for admission in doctoral programme. The important details of the admission process are listed below -

Course name: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

Essential Qualification: NET/GATE/CAT/GMAT

Educational Qualification:

  • An applicant must have a Masters degree in the relevant subject with first class/division or a minimum of 60% marks/CGPA of 6.0 (on a 10 point scale), OR

  • An applicant must have a Bachelors degree in relevant field with a minimum of 70% marks/CGPA of 7.0 (on a 10 point scale).

  • An applicant who has qualified for CA/ICAI/ICMA/CS, with first-class/division or a minimum of 60% marks/CGPA of 6.0 (on a 10 point scale) in Bachelors degree.

Admission Details

Indian Institute of Technology Dhanbad invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Unreserved, PWBD Quota, Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Economically Weaker Sections. The selection process will include an Interview process. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India, 826001.
