Mumbai Port Trust invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/Absorption/Direct Recruitment:

Post Name: Chief Engineer

Essential Qualification

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognised university/Institution

• 17 years experience in executive cadre in Planning/Constn/Design/Maintenance preferably of Port and Marine structures in an Industrial/ Commercial/Government Undertaking.

• For absorption through composite method, officers holding posts in the scale of pay of 80000-220000 with three years regular service in the Civil Engineering Department of a Major Port Trust shall be eligible.

• For deputation, Officers holding analogous posts or officers holding post of Chief Engineer and equivalent posts in Civil Engineering Department in the scale of pay of 100000-260000 with 2 years regular service in Chief Engineer and equivalent post in Civil 80000-220000 and above with 5 years regular service in the grade in Govt./Semi Autonomous bodies. (other than Major Port Trust) will be eligible. the grade or officers holding post of Deputy Engineering Depertment. in the scale of pay of Government/PSUs/The selection is by merit for which benchmark in overall grading in the ACRS will not be below Very Good.
