Essential Qualification: Candidates should have a good academic background, a Ph.D. in Economics, Development Studies, or in any social science, and with proven research ability. Publications/papers as per the UGC norms are essential. The applicant must have a minimum of five years of experience as a Professor with considerable research and administrative experience, capable of providing academic leadership, and ability to raise funds for research. The applicant should not be more than 60 years of age at the time of application.
