Essential Qualification:
The candidate should have:
D.M. in Gastroenterology/Hepatology
At least 10 years of service as Professor of Gastroenterology/Hepatology in a recognized Hospital/University/Institute.
Experience of teaching along with research of not less than 10 years after D.M.
Minimum Twenty-five years standing in profession.
Administrative experience of at least five years of running an important scientific education institution in the field of medicine either as Head of the institution or Head of Department (of sizeable size) of the Institution.
Additional Condition for Deputation: - Applicant must be holding analogous post on regular basis in Central Govt., State Govt., Union Teritories, Autonomous or Statuton Organizations, PSUs, University or Recognized Research Institutions.
Desirable:
An eminent Hepatologist of national and international repute, who has an outstanding record as a clinician, teacher and researcher with leadership qualities in liver and biliary diseases.
Extensive practical and Administrative experience in the field of medical relief, medical research, medical education or public health organization.
The candidate should have creditable and cutting-edge research publications in national and international indexed journals etc. of repute.
