National Institute of Technology Karnataka invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following post :

Post Name : Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification :

(1) Candidate with B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production Engineering/Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering and other allied disciplines with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). Candidate must have qualified GATE examination. (old gate score will also be considered).

(2) M.Tech./M.E. in Manufacturing/Production Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering/Materials Science and Engineering/Materials Engineering and other allied areas with a minimum of 60% aggregate score (6.5/10 CGPA). Candidate must have qualified GATE examination (old gate score is also considered). Those who are appearing for M.Tech/M.E last semester may also apply. Proof of M.Tech/ M.E certificate has to be provided during the time of interview.

Desirable :

(1) Basic exposure to Metal Additive Manufacturing Processes. Candidates with prior experience will be given preference.

(2) Should be able to work in a team and must have good communication skills.
