Post Name: Assistant Professor (Law)

Essential Qualification: 

• A Masters degree in Law/Maritime Law/International Law from an Indian University or an equivalent degree in a relevant/allied subject from an accredited foreign university.

• Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the University Grant Commission (UGC).

• A candidate with PhD shall be given preference.

Desirable: 

• Teaching, Research and / or professional experience from reputed organization in Law/ Coastal Security/Maritime Law/International Law/ Law of the Sea.

• Papers presented / published at Conferences and / or in refereed journals.

• Experience of research in relevant area.

• Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
