Essential Qualification:
1. Degree in law from a recognized university
2. Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matriculation or Hindi as one of the subjects in Higher standards
3. Must be a Member of Bar Association
4. Must have at least 10 years of legal practice and should have exclusively practiced in electricity laws for minimum 7 years before APTEL or Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) or any other State Electricity Regulatory Commission
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills
