Essential Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate/Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course selected through a process described through any one of the following :-

  • Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Test-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE

  • The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc

  • Candidates must have very good knowledge of space science in particular and physics in general and should be well versed in Python, C and C++ programming languages Good writing and communication skills are essential for the sponsored research project A desirable candidate should have some experience of working with simulations and data analysis related to space science
