Essential Qualification:
M.Sc in Physical Oceanography/ Oceanography (Physical Oceanography)/ Marine Science (Physical Oceanography)/ Marine Science (Coastal Zone Management)/ Oceanography & Coastal Area Studies/ Physical Oceanography and Ocean Modelling.
M.Sc Zoology.
Desirable:
Good knowledge in Coastal Physical Processes, Satellite Image Processing, Programming, Statistical interpretations through various software. Candidate will be engaged in field data collection, model simulation, satellite image processing, data interpretation.
Candidate having knowledge in marine plankton and fish taxonomy will be preferred.Participation in fieldwork onboard boats, plankton sampling, analyses and data preparation.
Post Name: Project Associate-II
Essential Qualification: M.Sc Marine Biology with NET/GATE qualification plus minimum two years experience in zooplankton sampling, identification and data analyses.
Desirable:
Knowledge in taxonomic identification of zooplankton.
Participation in fieldwork onboard boats, plankton sampling, analyses and data preparation.
