Post Name: Project Assistant

Essential Qualification: B Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering or related specialization.

Post Name: Project Associate

Essential Qualification:

• B Tech/BE in Mechanical Engineering or related specialization with at least 2 years of industry/research experience or M Tech/ME/MS in Mechanical Engineering or related specialization.

• B Tech in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation with at least 2 years of industry/research experience or M Tech/ME/MS in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation or related specialization.

Desirable for Project Assistant and Project Associate:

• The candidate is expected to work in an interdisciplinary team of researchers and practitioners. Ability to work independently with limited supervision and support efficient project implementation. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is also desired. Strong interpersonal communication and excellent oral presentation, preparation of reports, and project-related correspondence with all the stakeholders. Candidates having strong background in academic setups and willing to explore new knowledge. Coordination with internal stakeholders of the institute and external community. Preference will be given to the candidates working experience relevant to the project.

• Candidates with expertise in any one or more than one of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:

(1) Expertise in modelling fluid flow, heat transfer and phase change processes using CFD software like Ansys Fluent.

(2) Good knowledge of thermal engineering (Fluid Mechanics, Heat and Mass Transfer, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, and Computational Fluid Dynamics)

(3) Experience in experimental measurements related to heat transfer and development of experimental setup

(4) Expertise in conducting field measurements

(5) Candidate from electrical background should have the knowledge of microcontroller, sensors, Expertise in C++, MATLAB, digital control and digital communication.

(6) Expertise in technical writing and research publication.
