CSIR National Chemical Laboratory invites applications for the following posts via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Senior Project Associate

Essential Qualification:

• Masters Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelors degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and

• Four(4) years experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services; OR

• ME /M.Tech in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent with TWO years experience in R&D in industrial and Academic Institutions or S&T Organizations and Scientific activities and services; OR

• Doctoral Degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Pharma/ MD/MS from a recognized University or equivalent

Desirable: Hands on work experience in R&D laboratory; Sound practical knowledge in molecular biology, genomics and allied subjects; Preferably with cell culture experience using CRISPR/Cas9 technology; Experience in using Oxford Nanopore Technology based nucleic acid sequencing; Interest and basic knowledge in infectious disease biology
