2. Consultant (Emigrant & Welfare Specialist)

Essential Qualification:

1. Graduate degree from a reputed Indian or International Institution/ University in International Relations/ International Law/ Political Science/ History/ International Developments preferably with the focus on migration.

2. Candidate should possess good writing and analytical skills.

3. Should possess good speaking skills in English and any other foreign language.

4. Candidate should be proficient in computers.

Essential Work Experience: Previous experience of 5-10 years in one ore more of the following:

1. Handling international migration policies

2. Research in creating the overseas employment.

3. Resolving the issues of the overseas Indian workers in coordination with the states & central government and other organisations.

4. Experience of participating in international meetings involving international discussions/negotiations on any of the contemporary issues with global ramifications.

Desirable:

1. Ph.D/ Post Graduate degree from a reputed Indian or International Institution/ University in International Relations/ International Law/ Political Science/ History/ International Developments preferably with the focus on migration.

2. Work experience with International Organizations/ International Institutions/ UN agencies/ Government of India.

3. Knowledge and familiarity in dealing with migration and mobility issues, common issues of diaspora and welfare schemes for migrant workers.
