ICAR National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources invites application from eligible candidates for Walk-in-Interview for the following posts:

Post Name: Senior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification:

  1. Masters Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences/ Plant Biotechnology/ Plant Breeding/

  2. Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent with 4 years or 5 years of Bachelors degree. OR
    Having 3 years Bachelors Degree who have acquired professional Master degree (3 years) like MCA are eligible. Candidates having Masters degree in basic sciences with 3 years Bachelors degree and 2 years Masters Degree should have NET qualification. OR

  3. Ph.D in Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Agricultural Statistics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Computer Application or equivalent.

Desirable:

  1. Knowledge of Statistical and Computational Genomics/ Bioinformatics.

  2. Knowledge of programming in LINUX/R/Perl/J AVA/PHP/JSP and use of various software & tools.
