Ministry of Home Affairs invites applications for the following post via Deputation/Absorption/Direct Recruitment /Promotion.

Post Name: Assistant Director (Disaster Management)

Essential Qualification: Officer under the central government or a state government or Union Territories or Public sector Undertaking or recognized Research institution or universities or semi Government Organisations or statutory Organisation or Autonomous Organisation:

• Holding analogous Post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department.Or

• with two years serves in the grade rendered after appointment there to on the regular basis in posts in Level-8 in the pay matrix (pre-revised:Pay Band -2 9300-4800 and grade pay of 4800) or equivalent in the parent cadre or department

• Masters degree in Economics/Commerce/Mathematics Statistics/ Operation Research from a recognized university.

Essential Work Experience: Five years Experience in compilation ,Presentation and analysis of Statistical data in a government Office and Public sector Undertaking or Autonomous Organisation or Universities or Statutory Body.

Desirable: Diploma in/disaster Management and experience in handling relief operation
