Post Name: Junior Research Fellow

Essential Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Basic Science or Graduate/ Postgraduate in the professional course

Selected through a process described through any one of the following:

• Scholars are selected through National Eligibility Tests-CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.

• The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc.

Desirable: General plant molecular biology-related techniques such as cloning and qPCR, plant tissue culture, transformation of bacteria and plants.

Desirable: Research experience in plant breeding, proximate analysis of food products and working in the field and molecular biology lab.
