Essential Qualification: with valid GATE score above the prescribed cut off level/ NET qualification.

Educational Qualification :

(1) BE/ B Tech/ MSc/ MA/ MBA/ MCA /equivalent degree.

(2) B Tech from IITs with CGPA 8.0

(3) ME/ MTech/ MPhil /equivalent degree.

Admission Details

Indian Institute of Technology Patna invites applications from eligible candidates for admission in various programmes. The method of admission will be Course Admission and Fellowship. Applications are invited with reference to advertisement number IITP/ACAD/Ph.D/2022-23/02. Age relaxation will be given to the following categories: SC/ST Categories, Women, Person With Benchmark Disability and Other Backward Classes will be as per the government rules. Quota/Reservation will be provided to the following categories: Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, Economically Weaker Sections and PWBD Quota. The examination will be conducted through Offline mode at Regional level. After compilation of all the procedures, the candidates will be posted at Patna, Bihar, India, 800001.
