Directorate of Forensic Science and Service invites applications for the following posts via Deputation:

Post Name: Deputy Director (Quality Assurance and Quality Control)

Essential Qualification:

Officer under the Central/State Government or Union Territories or Universities or recognized research institutions or public sector under taking or statutory or autonomous organization:

(a) (i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) With five years regular service in posts in Level-11 (67700- 208700) of the Pay Matrix; and

(b) Possessing the essential qualification and experience as under:-

(i) Master degree in Physics or Applied Physics or Biophysics or Mathematics or Applied Mathematics or Forensic Science or Botany or Zoology or Micro Biology or Chemistry or Biotechnology or Bio Chemistry or Physical Anthropology or Genetics or Pharmacology or Pharmacy or Psychology or Criminology or Computer Science or Electronics or Human Genetics OR

(ii) Bachelor Degree in engineering or Technology in Biotechnology or Civil or Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics or Telecommunications or Computer Science or instrumentation or Computer Science and Engineering or Electronics and Communications Engineering or Information Technology or Electrical and Electronics Engineering from a recognized University or Institute

Essential Work Experience: Ten years experience of research in Forensic Laboratory/institution under Central/ State or Union Territory out of which eight years of experience in accredited laboratory/institution for management of quality assurance programme accredited by Quality Council of India, Standardization Testing and Quality Certification, National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories, National Assessment and Accreditation (council,National Agriculture Education Accreditation Board. Skill Management and Accreditation of Training, Bureau of Indian Standards.
