Senior Scientist and Head

Essential Qualification:

(a) For disciplines other than Engineering subject Doctoral degree in Agriculture subject including relevant basic science with 8 years experiences in relevant subject Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent position the pay bond – 3 of `15600 – 39100 with Grade pay of 5400/ 6000/ 7000/ 8000 equivalent or more remuneration whichever is applicable having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension as evidence by published work/ innovations and impact.

(Or)

Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic science with minimum 8 years experience of high quality postdoctoral research in an institution / organization as evidenced by at least 6 publications in journals with NAAS rating of 7.5 or above

(b) For Engineering disciplines:

Doctoral degree in relevant Agriculture engineering subject with 6 years experiences as Scientist/ Lecturer/ Extension specialist or in an equivalent position the pay bond – 3 of 15600 – 39100 with Grade pay of 5400/ 6000/ 7000/ 8000 equivalent or more remuneration whichever is applicable having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidence by published work/innovations and impact

(Or)

Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic science with minimum 6 years experience of high quality post doctoral research in an institution / organization as evidenced by at least 6 publications in journals with NAAS rating of 7.5 or above

(c)Master degree in relevant Agriculture engineering subject with 10 years experiences as Scientist/Lecturer/Extension specialist or in an equivalent position the pay bond – 3 of 15600 – 39100 with Grade pay of 5400/ 6000/ 7000/ 8000 equivalent or more remuneration whichever is applicable having made contribution to research/ teaching/ extension education as evidence by published work/innovations and impact.

Subject Matter Specialist (Animal Science)

Essential Qualification: Master degree in Veterinary Sciences/Animal Sciences (Or) equivalent qualifications from a recognized university.

Subject Matter Specialist (Agricultural Extension)

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Agricultural Extension or equivalent qualifications from a recognized university
