Essential Qualification:
Degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
Certificate of Competency (COC) issued or recognised by DGS, Government of India, as Marine Engineer Officer Class I (MEO Class I) – Unlimited Horse Power.
Essential Work Experience: Should have sailed as Chief Engineer on Indian or Foreign going Ships.
Desirable Experience:
Candidates who have teaching experience in DGS approved Institutes.
Sailing Experience on Gas Tankers as Chief Engineer / Second Engineer.
Done a Vertical Integration Course on Training (VICT) OR Training for Trainers and Assessors (TOTA) course prior to 1st Oct 2018 conducted by DGS approved Institutes.
