Essential Qualification:

1.Officers of the Central Government /Central Public Sector Undertaking connected with power sector, or officers of the State Government/Union Territories/State Electricity Boards/State Public Sector Undertakings connected with power distribution, possessing a Degree in Electrical Engineering and holding analogous post or with at least 5 years regular service in the grade of superintending Engineer or equivalent (Period of deputation shall ordinarily not exceed 4 years)
