Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/ Absorption/ Re-Employment:

Post Name: Assistant Editor (Media)

Essential Qualification: 

1. Officers under the Central Government or the State Government or Union Territories or Universities or recognised Research institutions or Public Sector Undertakings or Semi Government or Autonomous or Statutory Organisations:

2. holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or Department; or

3. with Five years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on a regular basis in Level 6 in the Pay Matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or Department; and

4. Bachelors degree Journalism or Mass Communication of a recognized University or Institute; or

5. Bachelors degree of a recognized University or Institute with English and Hindi as compulsory or elective subjects.

6. Diploma in journalism or mass Communication of at least one year Duration from a recognised University or Institute.

Desirable: Two years experience in the Field of Public relations or journalism and editorial work in any Government Department.
