Central Pollution Control Board invites applications for the following posts via Deputation/ Absorption/ Re-Employment:

Post Name: Member Secretary

Essential Qualification: Officers of the Central or State Government or public sector undertaking or University or Government research institution or autonomous or statutory body-

(a) (i) holding analogous posts on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(ii) With two years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in pay band 4 of 237,400/--267,000/- with Grade Pay of 28,700/- or officers with six years service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in pay band -3 of 15,600/-39,100/- with Grade Pay of 7,600/- or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; and

(b) possessing the following qualification and experience:-

(i) Masters degree in Science or degree in Engineering from a recognized institute or university or equivalent; and

(ii) Twelve (12) years experience in the regular Group-A posts, not below the rank and pay scale of pay band -3 of 15,600/- - 239,100/- with grade pay of 6,600/-, in Government department or institution or central public sector undertaking or university or Government research institution or autonomous or statutory body at the administrative or managerial level with practical experience in matters relating to scientific, engineering or management aspects of pollution control.

Desirable: PhD in Science relating to Environment or M Tech in Engineering in a discipline relating to Environment from a recognized institute or university or equivalent.
