Research Associate-I: A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field of Galaxy astronomy using optical /IR and/or Radio observations. Experience in astronomical observing, data analysis, and/or modeling leading to publications in referred journals
Research Associate-II: A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field of Galaxy astronomy using optical /IR and/or Radio observations with 1-2 years of experience in astronomical observing, data analysis, and/or modeling leading to publications in refereed journals.
Research Associate-III: A Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field of Galaxy astronomy using optical /IR and/or Radio observations with more than 2 years of experience in astronomical observing, data analysis,and/or modeling leading to publications in refereed journals
Post Name: Research Fellow
Essential Qualification: candidates who have submitted PhD thesis in Physics or a closely related field of Galaxy astronomy using optical/IR and/or Radio observations but expecting their defence
Desirable:
Familiarity with programming (Python/C/Fortran), astronomical image processing packages (IRAF/CASA/AIPS/MIRIAD, etc.) will be preferred
Experience in Radio/optical/IR observations is highly desirable.
