National Institute of Plant Genome Research invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:

Post Name: Junior Research Fellow/Project Associate-I

Essential Qualification: Candidates having Masters degree in Plant Breeding & Genetics/Plant Pathology/Plant Mycology/Agriculture/life sciences with at least 55% (or equivalent) marksin master degree can apply. Experience of working wit dry root rot disease in plants or any similar pathology topics is required and mandatory for the shortlisting. This project involves screening/phenotyping chickpea germplasm for dry root rot disease by imaging/disease scoring in laboratory, greenhouse and field conditions and the candidate must have demonstrated ability to handle these requirements. Experience in using GWAS, SNP analysis, QTL mapping & gene discovery is desirable.
