Essential Qualification: B.Sc in Mathematics / Physics / Electronics / Computer Science or B.C.A, or Three Years Diploma in Computer Science Engg/Electronics Engg/Mechanical Engg/Civil Engg
Desirable: Working knowledge in Python or any other programming.To participate in cruise/field works at monthly intervals on board cargo ships/passenger ships/research ships to collect vertical temperature, salinity profiles using XBT/XCTD, coastal sea surface salinity sampling at 10 locations along the east coast of India, and their analysis
Post Name: Project Associate-II
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Marine Science/ Chemical Oceanography with minimum 2 years of research experience in marine/ estuarine environment and good publication record
Desirable: Analytical work experience in water column chemistry and biology, working experience with HPLC, a minimum of 2 publications in peer-reviewed international journals. Experience in participating in fieldwork using boats/ trawlers.Project work that includes field data collection, sample collection, laboratory analysis, data analysis, writing of project reports and manuscripts. Any other work assigned by the PI.
