Indian Institute of Technology Ropar invites applications for the following post via direct recruitment:
Post Name: Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualification:
1. Masters degree in Mechanical/ Civil/ Aerospace Engineering / Physics from a recognized institute and with an exceptionally good academic record with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a 10.0 point scale (or 70% marks) + good GATE/NET score.
2. Bachelors degree in Mechanical/ Civil/ Aerospace Engineering / Physics from a recognized institute and with an exceptionally good academic record with a minimum CGPA of 7.0 on a 10.0 point scale (or 70%marks) + good GATE/NET score
Desirable: The candidate should have a good grasp of basic mechanical engineering subjects such as thermodynamics and engineering mathematics. Candidates having prior exposure to programming and basic knowledge of CFD will be given preference. The knowledge of deep learning is desirable but not a compulsory requirement.
