Essential Qualification:

PG degree in siddha included in the 2nd schedule of Indian medicine central council Act 1970.

Enrolment in the Central/State Register of Indian medicine.

Essential Work Experience: 18 years experience in a Group A level post having.

1. a minimum three years regular service in a post in pay level-13 (7th CPC) PB-4 with GP of 87000 (as per 6th CPC) equivalent Corresponding pay scale as applicable to the post.

2. Eight years regular service in a post in pay level-12 (as per 7th CPC) PB-3 with GP 76000 (as per 6th CPC) or equivalent/Corresponding pay scale as applicable to the post.

Desirable:

1. Adequate experience in teaching and /or Research in central State Government/Autonomous Bodies.

2. Administrative Experience in a responsible post in Central/State Government/Autonomous Bodies.

3. Ph.D qualification in Siddha.
