Essential Qualification:
Economics: A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Economics from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Political Science: A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Political Science from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university
Sociology: A Masters degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in Sociology from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
Desirable:
Economics:
Experience of teaching various economics courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels; in particular, courses relating to microeconomics, international economics, public economics and quantitative methods in economics.
2. Evidence of carrying out research and high quality publications on rural economy and allied themes.
Political Science: Masters or Ph.D. in Political Science with the specialization in Public Policy and Public Administration. The sub disciplines are Political Theory and political Thought/International Relations, political Process, State Politics in India with experience of developing field practicum courses.
Sociology: Masters or Ph.D. Sociological Theory/Media culture and society/ Gender/ Research Development with experience of developing field practicum courses.
